The meat industry recently got exposed by numerous documentaries and even undercover videos which shows the reality of the situation. This flaws in the system triggered a lot of dissatisfaction throughout massive number of people.
There are even spurring laws to protect the food industry from the public’s prying eye and this just sound ironic.
The video below is just a small fragment of the documentary video “Samsara”. This documentary is showing us how modern food processing work. It will provide essential information on pork, poultry, and cattle facilities, then a grocery store, followed by a view of the conditions in a fast food restaurant, and it will end in a doctor’s office.
It is important to mention that “Samsara” is not solely about the food industry. The filmmakers claim that they had no agenda whatsoever.
The producer Mark Magidson it explain that the video is more of an emotional experience then intellectual. Also added that by making this video they didn’t try to tell the viewers anything, but let them decide how they going to experience it.
On the film’s website it is clearly explained that samsara means “the ever turning wheel of life” in Sanskrit. According to this, “Samsara” was made to show “the point of departure for the filmmakers as they search for the elusive current of interconnection that runs through our lives.”
Finally for this documentary to be made it took 5 years and the filming team travels in 25 different countries.
